Description
Wage Determination Lodging Statement of Work Lodging This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format of FAR Part 13 for the 190th Mission Support Group (MSG) Contracting Office, Forbes Field, 5920 SE Coyote Drive, Topeka, KS 66619-5370 (NOT THE 184th IN WICHITA, KS). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation as a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24, effective 28 February 2008. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 721110 with a small business size standard of $6.5M. The Government reserves the right to enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with multiple vendors who will compete for BPA Calls and can demonstrate capability of providing extended stay lodging accommodations for eligible members of the unit. Lodging Facilities must be located within a 15 mile radius of the bases front gate located at 5920 SE Coyote Drive, Topeka, KS 66619-5370. The Government will not pay more than the annual rates allowed for in the Joint Federal Travel Regulation. Preference will be given to hotels offering the GSA FedRooms® annual rate or better. All vendors must be U.S. Fire Administration/FEMA compliant. Vendors have 15 days to respond. Responses will not be accepted after 13:00PM CST on 03 Jul 2009. Should this request not result in any small business, the Government intends to enter into negotiations and award to a large business. The sources sought announcement does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. When the Government asks awarded BPA holders for a quote they will provide the exact quantity. All calls made against this BPA will be competed amongst all awarded BPA holders and a BPA call will be issued to the offeror who presents the best value to the Government at the time the quote request is issued.
