- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSE ONLY THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GSA SCHEDULE 70. Rural Development (RD) is issuing a competitive RFQ to solicit GSA Schedule 70 contract holders for the purpose of entering into a Task Order under the successful firms Schedule contract. Interested vendors should contact USDA/RD for the RFQ. The awarded contract will be funded in whole or in part under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The awardee shall comply with the reporting requirements mandated by FAR Subpart 4.15 and FAR Clause 52.204-11, American Recovery & Reinvestment Act-Reporting Requirements. By reference, FAR Clause 52.204-11, American Recovery & Reinvestment Act—Reporting Requirements, is incorporated in its entirety into this RFQ. The purpose of this Pre-solicitation is to obtain technical support services to provide maintenance support and enhancement development to the Guaranteed Loan System (GLS) and related automation initiatives within the Guaranteed Loan Technology Branch, while continuing to develop component-based processes where deemed feasible and directed by the government. This automation will include, but not be limited to, GLS, Program Loan Accounting System (PLAS), Electronic Funds Transfer System (EFT), Guaranteed Underwriting System (GUS), the development/re-use of common Web Services, and other activities that support Department-wide E-Government initiatives and customer service Guaranteed Loan System development, enhancements, and maintenance – Services includes analysis, development, testing, and implementation of requests for automation. Government anticipates a staff of two full time developers knowledgeable in J2E, CA-Gen, COBOL, and Hyperion software development. One of these two full time developers will attend the weekly status meetings to report on their accomplishments. CONTRACT TYPE: FIRM FIX PRICE IDIQ
