THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912GB09R0049. PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT OPEN TO LOCAL CONTRACTORS & DESIGN/BUILD FIRMS ONLY PROJECT NAME:Three (3) Wells, Niger, Africa PROJECT SUMMARY: Design and construction of fully functional, turnkey type facilities in Niger, Africa. The work includes but is not limited to design, fabrication, all furniture and equipment, delivery, installation, construction and site work. The Three (3) Wells located in Niger, Africa: The construction of Taoudawene Well will provide a new water source for the villages in the Tuareg and Woodabe area. The well is estimated to require a depth of 110 meters and 1.8 meters wide. The well will be concrete lines with four (4) troughs to supply water to livestock. Once well construction has been completed, water will be tested and certified to ensure compliance with local drinking water quality standards. The construction of the Assanga Well will provide a new water source for over 1500 people and livestock in the Tuareg and Woodabe area. The well will be an estimated 100 meters deep and 1.8 meters wide. Once well construction has been completed, water will be tested and certified to ensure compliance with local drinking water quality standards. The construction of the Tchin Tabaradene Well will provide a new water source for the nomadic Turage and Woodabe populations and their livestock. Once well construction has been completed, water will be tested and certified to ensure compliance with local drinking water quality standards. DISCLOSURE OF THE ORDER OF MAGNITUDE:Between $25,000 and $100,000. LOCATION OF WORK:The wells will provide a new water source for the villages in the Tuareg and Woodabe area.
