- The above reference solicitation is hereby amended to reflect the following changes: 1. Remove Small Business Set-Aside 2. Evaluation for award shall be based on price and price related factors. 3. The solicitation is unarchived, and the response date is extended to June 22, 2009. The USCG Engineering Logistic Center has a requirement for the following: NSN: 4330-01-469-7289, SEPARATOR, OIL, Sarex Model VGS-2 olil/water separator. 2 GPM (.45M3/HR) vacuum gravity coalescer type, two stage, fully automatic system w/oil content monitor (BA-1), outlet manifold assembly, pumps & motors, 110 vac, 50/60 HZ, 1 ph. Part no. G22BP, (Qty 4 each). Subsitute Part no is not acceptable. Offeror shall be an authorized distributor/dealer of the (OEM)Original Equipment Manufactuere. It is the Government's belief that only Coffin World and/or their distributors can furnish the required part and insure the proper,fit, form and function. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above item are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 10 days of this announcement. Potential sources desiring to furnish other than Sarex Model.The proposed contract action is for supplies or services and is set-aside for Small Businesses for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with under the authority FAR 6.302. Interest persons may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a Request for Competitive Proposals, however all proposals received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis The Coast Guard does not intend to pay for information solicited. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items and is issued in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and pursuant to FAR Part 6.302-1and HSAR 30521. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotations shall included, proposed delivery in days, pricing for items individually packaged, marked and bar coded, and the company’s Tax Identification number and Duns Number. Quotations shall be received no later than 11/24/08. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received shall be considered by this agency.
