- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5l00, plans to procure on a sole source basis, Swift/UYK-7 adapters and specialized cables, from Sabtech Industries, Inc (D&B#131239295) 23231 La Palma Ave., Yorba Linda, CA 92887-4768, five items, as listed: (1) Adapter Module for Swift Parallel Board, P/N AM-SW018-00, Qty 16 each; (2) Owl IRIG-B Reader/ Generator Card for PCI Bus P/N TW-RB001-00, 5 each; (3) Connector Interface Module for Swift Parallel Board, CIM, 112 to 2X80 Mini Straigh! t, P/N TB-11280-04, 16 each; (4) Cable for Swift Parallel PCI Board, 80P, Ribbon, 6 ft, P/N CA-SW080-04, 16 each; (5) Swift PCI NTDS Parallel A, B, C & H Interface 64K FIFO, Standard, 112 Pin Connector, 16 each; Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized in this Procurement. The basis for this sole source is that Sabtech is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of this equipment. They are also the designer & developer and sole distributor of this equipment. This equipment will be utilized to support the ICSTF Carrier and Amphib mission and will be Shipboard installed. This equipment must match existing equipment and must be 100% compatible to meet operational functionality and testing requirements. This equipment is also programmed for specific software and drivers, also installed on the ships. These parts are necessary to ensure critical tactical operations in the Fleet. This notice serves as the solicitation. There will be no formal solicitation issued as a result of this notice. NSWC Request for Quote (RFQ) # N00178-09-Q-2562. Interested parties may submit their quotes/bids to the following: roberta.moss@navy.mil referencing the Quote # herein. This solicitation is expected to close on or about 30 June 2009, with award expected on/before 15 July 2009. Delivery expected to N66001, NSWCDD San Diego Detachment, ICSTF, Supply Clerk, Building 609, Cube 14, 53090 Exercise Street, San Diego, CA 92152-7366 on or before 30 September 2009.
