Description
RECOVERY This notice is provided for informational purposes only. To receive a contract for this project, the contractor shall agree to meet the requirements in the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, Section 1512. This announcement serves as the pre-solicitation notice for elevator rehabilitation services at Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial (PEVI). The NAICS Code is 238290. Proposed Solicitation Number is N2011090686.All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the National Park Service. The solicitation will be issued on or about 23 June 2009 and proposals will be due on or about 20 July 2009. Award is anticipated in late July 2009. The project site is the historic monument to Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial (PEVI), a unit of the National Park Service. PEVI is located on South Bass Island in Lake Erie, adjacent to the city of Put-in-Bay, Ohio. Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial, the world's most massive Greek Doric column and the nation's only Peace Memorial in the National Park System, commemorates Commander Oliver Hazard Perry's victory over the British naval fleet on Lake Erie, off the coast of what is now Ohio, in the War of 1812.
