- The attached document is a revised in scope modification to the Statement of Work for the competitively award 8a small business set-aside procurement. RECOVERY ACT ACTION THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY UNDER THE OFFICE OF EXTRAMURAL RESEARCH DIVISION OF EXTRAMURAL ACTIVITIES SUPPORT UNDER MASTER KEY RESOURCES, LLC CONTRACT NUMBER HHSN-27-2007-00040P. In accordance with FAR Part 5.7 Publicizing Requirements Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act this is a notification of a modification to an existing, competively awarded fixed priced delivery order using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding. The contract is for administrative, technical and logistical support and was previously competed and awarded in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 8.4 Federal Supply Schedules using an 8a set-aside competitive process. It is the intent of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to modify purchase order number HHSN-276-2007-00040P with Master Key Resources, LLC. Currently, the Vendor provides administrative, technical and logisitical support to the Division of Extramural Activities and Support (DEAS) in the execution of grant processing at the NIH. As a result of ARRA funding the NIH anticipates a significant increase in the number of grant opportunities and applications and thus requires additional support. The purpose of this modification is to increase the administrative, technical and logistical support and other related activities on the award in orrder to facilitate and process the anticipated additional grants transactions directly related to the ARRA funded grants opportunities on behalf of the NIH. The activities and labor categories are within the scope of the existing contract and do not constitute new work. The contractor shall provide resources in quantities and timelines in accordance with, and as notified by, the current ordering processes of the Project Officer to meet agency demands for surge support. Labor Categories and Descriptions Below are the labor categories and descriptions from the existing master contract that may be required under this task order: Technical Assistant - Provides support to government technical and management-level personnel. Support includes, but is not limited to, documentation planning and support, project administration, general support in managing various activities, planning support, activity planning and administration, office relocation planning, etc. Clerical Assistant Has professional training or education in areas relevant to the specific needs of the program. Responsible for performing daily office tasks such as filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties as assigned. May be asked to carry out activities such as data collection or administrative support to the program. Conversant with relevant computer skills in field. This notice is for information purposes only.
