Description
NASA/LaRC has a requirement for six each PF03-56-B-A-4 (PMC-FPGA03) daughter cardsto include the following: High Speed serial digital IO PMC module fitted with a Xilinxuser programmable Virtex-II Pro XCVP50 FPGA. Includes four 2.5 Gbps front panel I/Ochannels, two 64 Mbyte banks of SDRAM (32Mx16 per bank), three 4.5 Mbyte banks of QDRSRAM (2Mx18 per bank), PCI interface, PMC P14 digital IO. Designed for rugged conductioncooled applications.These cards will allow for the collection and recording of relative navigation sensordata during a Development Test Objective (DTO) experiment on the Space Shuttle. Thesecards are to be installed into the avionics assembly and have been previously tested andused in the development of the project.NASA/LaRC intends to purchase the items from Systran Corporation.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 2:30 p.m. local timeon June 24, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
