Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR ENGINEUPGRADE. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice servesas the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not beissued.The purpose of this amendment is to provide additional information and answer questions.The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 6/12/2009. Documents related to this procurementare available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) serverwhich may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for theNASA/DFRC Business Opportunities home page ishttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=241. Can you supply the records for the life limited components for the two engines beingused as cores PCE93298 AND PCE93329. The times if possible for this date. What is theplanned flight time for NASA 7 from today's date to date of engine removal. See Attachments Book 1 and Book 2.2. What is the expected usage of leased engines. We would use approximately 75 hours per engine. I think this would be max usage.3. What is the make and model number of the requested 4-bladed props that will replace the 3-bladed props on N801NA? Propellers are 4 bladed Hartzell, part of the STC. So if you have the STC you can get allthe info you need.4. On the exchange core engines coming off NASA 7, is PRATT SERVICE BULLETIN 3002accomplished? YES, Service Bulletin 3002 has been complied with.
