Description
The US Army Medical Command, Pacific Regional Contracting Office (PRCO), Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii intends to issue a sole source award to American Medical Depot, 4380 NW 135th Street, Opa Locka, FL 33054 for the purchase of one (1) Fusion ENT Navigation System, manufacturered by Medtronic in support of USAMEDDAC-K in Yongsan, Seoul, Korea. This announcement is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Governments minimum needs can best be satisfied by supplies available from one source. The advance Fusion EM technology provides ENT surgeons uninterrupted navigation, without compromise to accuracy. Fusion is the only ENG IGS system to retain each surgeons software preferences to include scan windowing, room set up and instrument selection. The workflow in the software has been meticulously designed for speed of setup while retaining critical safety features that enable constant surgeon verification at every phase of the procedure. The software incorporates audio-visual prompts that assist users from start to finish. The Fusion ENT Navigation System is standardized by MEDCOM for all Army Otolaryngology Services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any firm that believes it can provide the stated supply is invited to submit a written notification to PRCO within three (3) days from the date publication of this notice. Supporting information/documents must be furnished to demonstrate the firms ability to meet technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time as well as references from other customers who are using their product. Information can be sent to Susan Martinez at susan.martinez@us.army.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Pacific Regional Contracting Office (PRCO) will proceed with the sole source award with American Medical Depot, Opa Locka, FL.
