Description

AG-0281-S-09-0050 FLAT ROUNDWOOD GRAPPLE PILING Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Shoshone County, Idaho. A small business set aside project on the Central Zone. Selective mechanical slash piling work to be performed in four units near Flat Creek on the Coeur d’Alene River Ranger District in Shoshone County, Idaho. The piling is necessary to achieve the objectives of the site preparation, fuel hazard reduction, and leave-tree fire proofing. Equipment utilized for the slash piling shall have low ground pressure, high maneuverability, and be capable of selecting various sizes of material. It is the contractor’s responsibility to furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, supervision, and incidentals necessary to achieve the objectives. SITE VISIT will be conducted on July 13, 2009. The meeting will begin at 0800 at the Silver Valley Office, 173 Commerce Drive Smelterville, ID. and will promptly leave for the units at 0830. Estimated work start date of August 10, 2009 on the Coeur d’Alene River Ranger District with completion of work no later than September 30, 2009.
