- Description
- The 21st Contracting Squadron has a requirement for cable television and high speed internet services. The solicitation will be issued the week of June 23rd, 2009 with a closing date on or about July 17th, 2009. This requirement will be a total small business set-aside. The North American Industrial code (NAICS) for this procurement is 515210 ($15.0M annually). This will be a Firm-fixed Price contract. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and service for cable and internet services. Any resultant contract would be for facilities on Peterson AFB. The contractor would be responsible for providing additional units or outlets in the future if needed. The contract will ensure that all licenses and franchise agreements which are necessary to provide service are initiated prior to submitting a proposal. Cable services will be procured in accordance with AFI 64-101, Multichannel Video Programming Distribution. This instruction can be found at http://www.e-publishing.af.mil/shared/media/epubs/AFI64-101.pdf. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13 which will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures therein. The base period of performance shall be from the 1 August 2009 to 30 September 2009 with four (4), one (1) year option periods. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. Any offeror that believes it can meet the following requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than response due date. In addition, FAR 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting, states that at least 50 percent of the cost of the contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern.
