Description
The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for (1) boat, (2) 60 hp outboard motors and (1) trailer package with optional and customized features designed for use in rough shallow waters and coastal areas of Alaska and the North East United States to be delivered to Grayling, Michigan by August 15, 2009. The following specifications apply: Critical Dimensions 23"-3, Bottom width 72", aft deadrise Constant 14 degrees,forward deadrise, 30 degrees, beam 94, side height 31", bow deck length 54", aft deck 113", max weight capacity 1800 lbs, 48 gallon tank, Hydraulic steering system, bow storage 27 gallon capacity, heavy duty full length extruded aluminum chine, walk thru windshield, Fully welded windshield, transom configured twin outboards 60 hp, full canvas package, including side and fish curtins,suspension seats, driver and passenger, 21inch jump seats ( port and stbd), hydraulic steering, safety features must include full recoverable floatation, floatation must extend below the deck, with transom compartment and with gunwales, full height side, full wave board at motor well, trailer requirements: Tandem Axle trailer ( minimum 4000 lbs rating), hydraulic disk break system, spare tire, chine guides. Boat must be light weight and durable and designed for less harmful environmental impact in these sensitive shallow water areas. The quote is to include descriptive literature. Failure to include this information will result in the quote being considered non responsive and the quote will not be considered. Vendor must be capable of providing all line items. No partial quotes will be accepted. The NAICS code is 336612 with a size standard of 500 employees. Award of this requirement shall be based upon the ability of the offerer to meet the specifications, ability to meet the required delivery and price. Simplified Acquisition procedures shall be used in this procurement. The anticipated award date for this requirement shall beJuly 22, 2009. Delivery shall be August 15, 2009 or sooner.. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be award the contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
