***THIS ACQUISITION IS CANCELLED*** IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS PROVIDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND RE-INVESTMENT ACT OF 2009, Pub.L. 111-5, THE GOVERNMENT POSTS THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE AN TRIBALLY OWNED 8(a) SOLE SOURCE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO Fort Mojave Construction, Inc 500 Merriman Ave. Needles, CA 92363. THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: The contractor shall complete a 100% design (working from initial government provided 10% design concept), construct, deliver, and warranty the final end product in accordance with the statement of work provided in the solicitation. Work shall include but is not limited to the following areas: renovate all dorm rooms to current Air Force Standards, reconfigure existing parking lot, renovate passive/active use areas, and remove existing HVAC cooling tower, asphalt parking area, sidewalks, curb/gutter, and landscape. The rough order of magnitude for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Pursuant to section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(a)) and in accordance with 13 CFR 124.1-1(c) and FAR 19.805-1(b)(2), the Small Business Administration has accepted this Tribally owned 8(a) Sole Source requirement on behalf of Fort Mojave Construction, Inc.
