Description
Contract FA4417-09-C-0009 awarded on 18 Jun 09 from solicitation FA4417-09-R-0022. Awardee: HCG-SCC JV, LLC Award Amount: $419,700.00 Description of work: Design/Build hangar doors. The doors shall be electrically powered and operate at a minimum speed of FPM. In the event of a power loss, personnel must be able to override the electrical system and move the doors manually. Provide brackets to allow attachment of straps and/or chains to allow manual movement of the doors. Provide braking system acceptable to and approved by the Contracting Officer. Provide all electrical support and design to connect to the existing electric system in the building. A warning hor and visual alarm that indicates the structure is moving or about to be moved shall be provided and shall differ from the existing horn and visual alarm used in the fire suppression system. A safety edge shall be provided to prevent the doors from closing in the event of an emergency. The prime contractor and the supplier shall provide a written warranty in a form acceptable to and approved by the Contracting Officer, that the doors and all components associated with the doors shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of acceptance by the government.
