Description: RECOVERY--Refurbish/Repair Exterior Components on Specified Rear Porches and Front Porch of Qtrs 19, Damp Proof and Install French Drains in Qtrs 27A&B, 28A&B, & Qtrs 432A, Repair Concrete lead Walk Qtrs 317. Background: Quarters 23A&B through 28A&B rear porches are enclosed, wood framed flat roofed, two story structures attached directly to the primary brick structure and clad with aluminum eight (8) inch single horizontal plain siding panels. The porches are elevated approximately four feet and supported by masonry piers with access underneath. The majority of all the trim is painted wood and will require to be covered with coil stock. Qtrs 16 and 19 porches are enclosed, single story, wood framed, covered structures attached directly to the primary masonry structures. Both porches are elevated approximately three feet and supported by masonry piers with access underneath. All exterior trim and paneling is painted wood and shall be replaced with cellular PVC trim and sheet goods. Qtrs 19 front porch requires the wood columns, railings, balustrades, and stair treads replaced with cellular PVC components. Qtrs 27A&B and 28A&B were not damp proofed with the rest of NCO Row and require the work to be performed to prevent further damage. Qtrs 317 front lead concrete walk is a trip hazard and requires replacement. A site visit will be arranged for all interested parties and is encouraged. This project is funded from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for HUB Zone Small Business. Contract award will be made on a firm fixed-price basis to the lowest bidder IAW FAR 14.408-1. Anticipated performance period is between 180 to 365 calendar days. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ at no charge. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. This action is 100% set-aside for HUB Zone small businesses; Bid Bond is required - 20% of Bid Price or $3M whichever is lesser.
