DESC: OC-ALC/448SCMG/PKBF, CONTRACTING, 3001 STAFF DR STE 1AE1 98C TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032. Item 0001 is an Operator Training Course for JetScan SEM/EDX machine SN 50-53. NSN: 6650-01-486-7721-PR. Quantity: PR L/I 0001 - qty 1LO. Delivery sought by: 31 December 2009. The approximate issue date of solicitation will be 22 June 2009 as this is a combined synopsis and solicitation. The approximate response due date of solicitation will be 7 July 2009. The anticipated award date is July 2009. Due to the complexity and criticality of this training, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, can be considered approved sources. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Written quotations are required. Export control provisions do not apply. History - no previous history. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source selection process.
