- THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE - The FAA is seeking experienced firms to extend the existing loading dock and construct an enclosure for the loading dock area located between the existing Control and Automation Wings at the FAA Cleveland Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Oberlin, Ohio.Construction of a new 90' x 20' (approx.) enclosure including the following: reinforced concrete footings and slab-on-grade, steel structural system, insulated wall panels (north side only), TPO roof, extension of existing concrete dock (20' x 15'), interior concrete ramp, exterior steel platform and stair, overhead rolling door, 6,000 lb. dock lift, jib crane and interior finishes. Project scope also includes: relocation of the existing dock leveler, storm drain piping, electric unit heaters, wall fans and louvers, interior pendent fluorescent lighting, exterior lights, power outlets, lightning protection and extension of ARTCC sprinkler and fire detection systems (smoke detectors, pull stations) into the new area. NAICS CODE - 236220 Offer range is between $100,000 and $250,000 with a performance time of approximately 150 calendar days. Construction start is anticipated for October 2009. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
