- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER SUSTAINMENT, RESTORATION & MODERNIZATION ACQUISITION TASK ORDER CONTRACT (SATOC). "In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act of 2009, Pub.L. 111-5, the Government posts this presolicitation notice of intent to issue a task order under an established Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with the Prime Contractors presently assigned to the Sustainment, Restoration & Modernization Acquisition Task Order Contract (SATOC) which is operated by HQ AETC CONS LGCT office, c/o HQ AFCESA CONS CEKC at Tyndall AFB, FL. This project calls for Replacement of Water Plant Boost Pumps at Dover AFB, DE, as stated in the presolicitation title. The Government intends to issue a task order to one of the Prime Contractors under the SATOC IDIQ. The Prime Contractors' main point of contact is listed on the attached SATOC Prime Spreadsheet (see attachment). Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the companies listed from this form. The purpose of this project is to replace four electrically-driven pumps and associated motors located in a centralized pumping station. Two of the pumps use 60-hp-drive motors and provide 1,400 GPM at a nominal system pressure of 60 psi. The remaining pumps use 40-hp-drive motors and provide 700 GPM at a nominal pressure of 60 psi. Replacement will consist of equipment of similar technical specifications and high-efficiency components in pursuit of Air Force energy initiatives.
