Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912SR-09-B-4000. This procurement will be acquired under FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency in order to make the necessary repairs at Vares Elementary School in Vares, Bosnia. Also special note the correct SOLICITATION number is W91253-09-B-4001. Draft Scope of Work and Draft ESTIMATED BILL OF MATERIALS AND QUANTITIES DRAFT SOW 1. DESCRIPTION: Partial renovation of Vares Elementary School in Vares Bosnia and Herzegovina. The contractor shall replace all existing outer joinery of the school with new aluminium anodized joinery, repair all damaged areas of the school faade and paint it, remove all existing gutters and replace with new ones as well as replace all inner and outer window sills. 2. LOCATION: The school is located in Vares, Federation of BiH, Bosnia and Herzegovina. 3. ALUMINIUM JOINERY WORKS: The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all existing wooden joinery on the outer walls of the school. The Contractor shall provide and install new anodized aluminium joinery to replace the old removed wooden joinery, as well as provide and install inner and outer window sills. 4. FAADE WORKS: The Contractor shall brake off all damaged areas of the existing faade on the outer walls of the school building (approximately 40-45% of total faade area), repair the exposed areas with plaster and paint the whole faade. 5. TINSMITHERY WORKS: The Contractor shall dismantle and remove all existing gutters, as well as provide and install new replacement gutters, as well as all tin metal fascia in different areas of the school. 6. DURATION OF PROJECT: The entire project shall be completed within 50 calendar days from the date of contract award. Draft ESTIMATED BILL OF MATERIALS AND QUANTITIES NOTE: THE CONTRACTOR IS TO UNDERSTAND THAT ALL THE MATERIALS AND QUANTITIES LISTED IN THIS ATTACHMENT ARE ESTIMATES ONLY, AND THAT THEY DO NOT REFLECT THE ACTUAL QUANTITIES OR MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS TO BE USED FOR THIS PROJECT. 1.ALUMINIUM JOINERY WORKS The contractor shall dismantle all existing wooden joinery along with the internal and external window sills and properly dispose of it to a location outside of school yard, as arranged with the school repre-sentatives and local laws and regulations. The contractor shall provide and install new anodized aluminium joinery made of aluminium profiles with a thermal break and thermo-insulated glass 4+12+4 mm, in accordance with Attachment 2 Technical Drawings. The bottom sections of all windows shall have a ventus opening and shall be frosted glass sand type. The price shall include delivery and installation of internal PVC window sills (white) as well as external zinc-plated metal sills. The contractor shall repair all internal and external window edges around the newly installed windows, in order to bring it in the initial state.
