Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center in Baltimore, MD has a requirement to issue a Requirements Type Contract, Firm Fixed Priced, for one base year with four option years for the repair of components to the WEATHERPAK 2000 system. These components include the following: Est yearly qty 25- WXPAK, ASSY W/HARDWIRE SENSOR, P/N: S1568, NSN: 6660-01-470-7062 and Est yearly qty 5- BRDG INFAC DSPLY BX, WX PAC, P/N 1201-104028, NSN: 7025-01-492-6726. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number of this acquisition is HSCG40-09-R-20037. This acquisition is not set aside for any small business concerns, and a sole source procurement under FAR 6.302-1 is anticipated. The NAICS Code is 811219 and the size standard is $7 Million. It is the Government’s intention to solicit and negotiate solely with Coastal Environmental Systems Inc., as they are the OEM for this equipment, and the only source with the required capabilities, embedded firmware and systems to operate, maintain and repair these Weatherpaks. The Government did not procure the data rights to the specifications, drawings, or documentation necessary to perform these repairs. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. All repaired material must meet form, fit, function and compatibility criteria and repairs shall be made in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Request for Proposal (RFP), Statement of Work and all other applicable documents will be uploaded electronically to the FBO website following the closing of this presolicitation notice. Delivery address for all items is: USCG ENGINEERING LOGISTICS CENTER RECEIVING ROOM – BUILDING 88 2401 HAWKINS POINT ROAD BALTIMORE, MD 21226 It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the EPS system for future notices and changes. Facsimile proposals are acceptable. Offers shall be made in accordance with FAR Provision 52.212-1. A signed copy of SF1449 shall be submitted with the proposal package. Requests for copies of the solicitation are NOT available to be mailed. All responsive and responsible firms may submit an offer which may be considered by this agency.
