This acquisition is 100% Set Aside For Small Business. This acquisition is for Producibility Study of the Joint Modular Intermodal Container (JMIC) Type I Design to provide recommendations on the design, material selection,product form, fabrication process and assembly technologies. Valid registrants to this synopsis will receive an email from the Indian Head Contracts POC notifying them of the solicitation's posting date. Solicitations are ONLY available through download from FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov and NECO at www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors are ineligible for award unless registered in DOD's Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR at http://www.ccr.gov/) with completed and up to date representations and certifications for the NAICS code 541712 Size Standard 1,000 employees, of this synopsis within Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA at http://www.orca.bpn.gov). Information regarding CCR and ORCA can be found through the Business Partners Network (BPN at http://www.bpn.go). This solicitation will be available for downloading beginning approximately 07-07-09.
