- This RFI is corrected to read as follows: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to conduct market research which will be used to formulate an acquisition strategy to support training requirements for the US Marine Corps' Training and Education Command (TECOM) training program. The National Capital Region Contracting Office (RCO-NCR) is requesting responses from all concerns. The qualifying code for this effort is NAICS 611430. The TECOM Program covers: (1) conducting operational training to prepare Marines for deployment; (2) assisting with instruction; (3) conducting training exercises; (4) developing/revising doctrinal publications; (5)assessing the effectiveness of current training programs; (6) developing training/educational products/programs in accordance with the Marine Corps's System Approach to the Training Process; (7) developing interactive electronic training products and (8) developing, story boarding, directing, and producing training videos. Responses to this RFI shall not exceed ten (10) pages, including cover letter and contact information. Subject response must contain: (1) Capability statement sufficient to demonstrate performance of the above eith (8) program areas; (2) Notations of time to complete previous, similar efforts and a description of any quality processes applied; (3) Link to the respondent's GSA MOBIS Schedule (if applicable), or attached file of same; and (4) Citation of any current, or past customers (i.e., within the past 2 years) to include contract number, point of contact telephone number or e-mail address. Response is due by Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Please submit e-mail responses to Carol Neely at e-mail address carol.neely@usmc.mil. NOTE: This Request for Information is for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
