Description
Questions and answers from the site visit are as follows: Question 1: What are the dimensions of the Generator enclosure? Answer: 77W X 55 Deep (is this inches or feet?) Question 2: Where does the fuel line enter? Answer: Left Side Question 3: Where does the exhaust exit? Answer: Floor Right side of each generator Question 4: Where are the remote monitoring panels? Answer: On the inside back panel of van Question 5: Is voltage meter required on monitoring panel? Answer: Contractor is expected to furnish new gauge package including oil pressure, water temperature(each Generator), hour meter (each generator), voltage (each generator can be dual switch or individual). Question 6: Will transfer switch be utilized? Answer: Yes contractor can use the existing transfer housing switch. Questions 7: Is the generator fuel tank separate from the van? Answer: Yes Question 8: Will the generator require the ability to be started at the installation location of van if needed? Answer: Yes the generators need the ability to be remote started from inside the van and outside at the spot they are installed. Question 9: Do you want Circuit Breakers on Generators? Answer: Yes it is required under the US/Military safety regulations Question 10: What size wire is running from the Pin and sleeve to transfer them to distribution panel? Answer: This wiring is limited to 60AMP Question 11: What is the wire size in the panel? Answer: The wire is a number 6 Question 12: Can the metal floor where the generators are located be modified to the new generators? Answer: Yes the metal floor can be modified to fit to each generator, however the contractor will be responsible to fix any and all holes not used. This is a turnkey operation; there are no holes now and none will be left after installation. XXX The limit to the modifications is the existing metal floor in rear of van. No modification of any other part of the walls, or storage in the rear part of the van will be allowed. Question 13: Can the fuel lines for the generator be changed. Answer: Yes, but the contractor is responsible to ensure there are no leaks, the lines are not in the way of operations, or walking around. The contractor also is responsible for all holes to be fixed or drilled if moved to a new location.
