- Recovery: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference number W912P5-09-T-0003 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32. The requirement is set-aside for 8(a) Small Business, and the associated NAICS code is 238210 and size standard is $14 million. Clauses may be accessed electronically in full text through http://farsite.hill.af.mil Contractors must be actively registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. The following provisions apply: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, FAR 52.212-3, Offerers Representation and Certification Commercial Item, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Condition-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. The date and time quotes are due is 3:00 PM, 07-July- 2009, to Ray.Kendrick@usace.army.mil or fax to Attn: Ray Kendrick@615-736-7124. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit your quote by the date and time mentioned above. Offeror shall submit quote on CLIN 0001 as noted below. Period of Performance: To be determined (TBD) CLIN 0001 Install Shore Power at Guntersville location. Option(s) CLIN 1001 Install Shore Power at Nickajack location. CLIN 2001 Install Shore Power at Chickamauga location. CLIN 3001 Install Shore Power at Watts Bar location. CLIN 4001 Install Shore Power at Fort Loudoun location. CLIN 5001 Install Shore Power at Kentucky Lock location. Options will be evaluated as a total price bid. STATEMENT OF WORK: Corps of Engineers staff shall assist the contractor in locating all points where outlets are required. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and supplies to furnish shore power as described for multiple locks on the Tennessee River. Work to be performed is described hereafter: To coordinate site visits contact Charlie Ho at phone number (615) 736-7822. Six (6) locations in need of services: Guntersville- Contractor shall install a new 100 amp fusible receptacle switch approximately 100 feet from where the walkway ends coming down on the backside of the floating wall and another 100 amp fusible receptacle switch approximately 200 feet upstream. Total length is approximately 650 ft. from the MCC. Options (To be exercised after successful completion of the Guntersville Project) Nickajack - The Contractor shall install a new 100 amp fusible receptacle switch on the common wall of the main lock approximately mid chamber and a second 100 amp fusible receptacle switch approximately 150 feet downstream. Total length is approximately 450 ft. from the MCC. Chickamauga - Contractor shall install a new 100 amp fusible receptacle switch close to the boat davit on the upstream river wall close to where the steps to get on the work flat. Total length is approximately 350 ft. from the MCC. Watts Bar - Contractor shall install a new 100 amp fusible receptacle switch approximately 100 to 150 feet near the forklift access way. Total length is approximately 350 ft. from the MCC. Fort Loudoun - Contractor shall install a new 100 amp fusible receptacle switch on the upper land wall. The first one shall be located where the wall breaks and the second one approximately 35ft upstream. Total length is approximately 350 ft. from the MCC. Kentucky Lock - Contractor shall install a new 100 amp fusible receptacle switch on the upper river wail close to where the floating boom wall tank attaches to the wall and one upstream of the offset in the river wall.
