Description
The U.S. Marshals Service shall issue Request for Prposals (RFP) DJMS-09-R-0042 as an 8A Set Aside for Court Security Officer services for the protection of the Federal Judiciary in the districts of Central Illinois and Northern Florida. The contractor must provide all management, supervision, manpower, materials, supplies, and equipment (except as otherwise provided by the Government) and plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective performance of Court Security Officer services. The contractor must provide at a minimum, qualified Court Seurity Officers (CSOs) that have sucessfully completed federal, state, county, municipal or military law enforcement academy training; that have a minimum of three calendar years experience as certified law enforcement officer withe arrest authority; background investigation; and physical fitness requirements. The Government intends to award a separate contract for each District. The resulting contract will be fixed price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, time & materials, labor hour contracts with a one-year base period and four one-year options. All options will be evaluated for award purposes. To be considered for award, the contractor is required to submit a proposal for all sites within a District. All questions must be submitted in writing to Jesse Moore no later than July 22, 2009. Offers will be due on August 10, 2009. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be availabe. The web site provides downloadind instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed soley through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This procurement is being issued as an 8A Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561612. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the agency. Services are anticipated to commence on or about October 1, 2009.
