- PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE ANNOUNCEMENT TO ASCERTAIN WEBSITE ADDRESS TO DOWNLOAD PROJECT DOCUMENTS AND PROJECT DETAILS. Paper copies of the solicitation shall not be issued but electronic copies of the solicitation will be available to download on the National Business Center website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) without further notice on or about Friday, July 10, 2009. The National Park Service, Boston National Historical Park, Charlestown, MA intends to contract for the completion of a Historic Furnishings Report for the Bunker Hill Granite Lodge. The Historic Furnishings Report is the first formal study of the site-associated furnishings at the Bunker Hill Lodge and will draw together information about the structure's furnishings from a variety of resources in the park's collection and external repositories into one usable document. It will contain a room by room analysis of the evidence of room use and furnishings, with an emphasis on the public rooms of the Lodge's ground floor. This analysis will be supplemented with historic photographs and pertinent historic documents. The implementation plan, which includes text and floor plans, will detail recommended treatments for each ground floor exhibit room making clear each object and the location of each object to appear in the installation. NAICS code 541720, $7.0 million. This solicitation is subject to full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation is a Best Value Request for Quotes and offers shall be evaluated on the responses to the following criteria: 1. Knowledge of American decorative arts and material culture spanning from the third quarter of the nineteenth century to the third quarter of the twentieth century. 2. Research experience and past performance utilizing primary source materials and writing reports dealing with historic furnishings as demonstrated by a resume, including references, that describes the offeror's work in this area, and samples of publications or reports, especially evidence of preparation of historic furnishings plans and reports. 3. Knowledge of American history and American art history spanning from the third quarter of the nineteenth century to the third quarter of the twentieth century. 4.
