Description
SOLICITATION NO. W9128F-09-T-0070 On or about July 6, 2009, this office will issue Commercial Item Supply Contract for the Switchyard Power Autotransformer, Garrison Power Plant, Garrison, North Dakota. The solicitation will close on or about 18 Aug 2009. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED AND OPEN TO BOTH LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. Contractors interested in inspecting the site of the proposed work should contact Dale Evenson; Garrison Project, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Telephone: (701) 654-7441 x3220. There are plans or a scheduled site visit. If a contractor is interested in seeing the site, please contact the above listed POC. DO NOT submit requests for plans and specifications to the site visit personnel listed above. See "Obtaining Solicitation Documents" below. _______________________________________________________________________________ Project Description: The principal components of the work to be performed include design, manufacture, factory test, and deliver to Garrison Power Plant in North Dakota one 90,000/120,000/150,000 kVA (common and series), 15,000/20,000/25,000 kVA (tertiary), 115 kV common/230 kV series/13.8 kV 3-phase autotransformer and accessories. Will also offload autotransformer at the Garrison Power Plant at the designated long-term temporary storage location, reassemble, oil-fill, and perform field test and furnish spare part. All work will be performed to comply with site operations, environmental protection, and safety and health provisions. _______________________________________________________________________________ The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 750 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Please be advised of on-line registration requirement in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov/ and directed solicitation provisions concerning electronic annual On-line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Representations and certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to ORCA.
