Description

RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER THE ROOFING MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT AT AIR FORCE RESEARCH LABORATORY ROME RESEARCH SITE. The first delivery order to be issued under the anticipated contract FA8751-09-D-0004 will be to Repair and Replace the Roof at the Logistics Facility, Building 2 Phases 5 & 6. This notice is for Phase 5. There is a separate notice for Phase 6. The scope of the work is for the contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, devices, and materials and perform all work required to remove existing BUR system and replace with 0.060" single-ply TPO for approximately 21,000 square feet (Phase 5) and 14,000 square feet (Phase 6) of roof, relocate certain roof drains, remove other roof drains, remove down spouts, cap piping, reconfigure lower roof edge slope to pitch water to new drain location, provide new roof drains and interior drain piping, provide new underground storm lines to tie-in new interior roof drain piping to catch basins, and provide 20-year no dollar limit warranty. The contract awardee will be determined after evaluation of proposals received in response to Request for Proposals FA8751-09-R-0005.
