- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has a requirement to provide janitorial services at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) for TSA occupied space, located in Greer, SC. This is a notice for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Request for Proposal number is HSTS01-09-R-RES912. This solicitation and subsequent contract award incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-28, this acquisition is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561720 and the small business size standard for this NAICS code is $15.0 million dollars in annual receipts. All responsible sources considered a small business under this NAICS code are eligible to respond to this solicitation. The Transportation Security Administration intends to award a firm fixed price contract with one base year and two (2) one year option periods on a competitive basis to one responsive and responsible offeror. The offerors shall be considered responsible as defined within the meaning of FAR 9.104. Offeror participation in the site visit is mandatory and will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP) at 10:00 a.m. SC local time. Candidates interested in participating shall contact the Security Officer of the day at (864) 848-624 (or Ms. Boozer at 864-238-4351) to confirm their attendance for participation in the site visit no later than Tuesday, June 30, 2009. The meeting location will be at the GSP Airport Information Counter, where contractors will be met and escorted to the Manager's Office by Ms. Joann Boozer. No technical or contractual questions will be answered nor will any additional instruction outside the Statement of Work be provided on the site visit. Should a vendor have questions of either nature please direct them via email only to Jennifer.Springer@dhs.gov at the TSA HQ Office of Acquisition. Offeror participation in the site-visit will be verified with Ms. Boozer by the Contracting Officer/Contract Specialist prior to award. Proposals submitted from offerors who do not participate, shall have their proposals rendered as non-compliant and will therefore be ineligible for award. It is anticipated that the RFP will be posted to FedBizopps via amendment to this notice no later than Wednesday, June 24, 2009.
