Description

The Government (88 CONS/PKA) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii). The proposed source is: Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc., Santa Barbara, CA. The items being procured are: 6" Absolute High Temperature Black Body System (Model Number: 4006S-120K-FF-010) (+50C to +60C Absolute T); with Option S, RS-232 Interface; Shipping and Handling (to be included in the price) (QUANTITY: 1) NOTE: THIS BLACK BODY SYSTEM MUST BE AVAILABLE: NLT, 31 SEPTEMBER 2009, FOR THE SPIT FIRE TEST SCHEDULE) (Location: United States Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433) This notice is being published for information purposes only, and is not a request for competitive quotations. However, any quotations received within FIVE (5) business days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
