- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Fort Riley has a requirement to provide services covered under the Armys First Sergeants Barracks Initiative program (FSBI). The FSBI is a program where the responsibilities of the day-to-day operations of the personnel housing barracks are transferred from the assigned units to the garrison staff on Fort Riley, KS. Extended Description: The contractor shall plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to perform assignment and termination of rooms; key management; collection for damages for non-fair wear and tear; report occupancy rates and barracks utilization; provide housing inspections and minor maintenance work; provide property and furnishing management; and other items and services not expressly Government-furnished. A complete performance work statement will be included as a Technical Exhibit. The solicitation will result in the award to a single contractor of a firm fixed price requirements contract. The anticipated period of performance is 1 September 2009 through 30 September 2010. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business, 8(a) competitive. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the Fed Biz Opps website, http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Fort Riley Contracting Website at http://www.1id.army.mil/UnitPage.aspx?unit=doc. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. Prospective offerors are urged to attend the site visit, date and time are identified in the solicitation. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. The offeror information and any commercial literature shall be submitted electronically to the named Contract Specialist on the solicitation document. Prospective offerors interested in submitting a bid on this solicitation must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and are reminded in accordance with DFARS Clause 252.204-7004, Alternate A Central Contractor Registration (Sep 2007). Inactive registration on the CCR database will make a prospective bidder ineligible for award consideration.
