Description

Federal Supply Group: 3417 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Solicitation Number: W9124R-09-R-1016 Response Date: 8 July 2009 Technical Questions: 30 June 2009 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13.5 -- Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis is being issued per FAR 52.211-6 for brand name or equal components. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Fac 2005-33, Effective 15 Jun 2009 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), Current to DCN 20090115 Edition. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. This solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. All quotes shall be for NEW equipment. Per FAR 12.202(b), salient characteristics and functionally will be for brand name or equal per descriptions referenced below. This solicitation contains Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) 0001: Quantity 1, Unit of Issue Each, Description Large Hammermill System, Ecovery LLC part number 09-1004-A; (CLIN) 0002: Quantity 1, Unit of Issue Each, Description Small Hammermill System Ecovery LLC, part number 09-1004-B; (CLIN) 0003: Quantity 1, Unit of Issue Each, Description Eddy Current Separator, Ecovery LLC, part number 09-1004-C. The requirement specifications, salient characteristics, statement of work, this CSS, or any other pertinent information applicable to this solicitation are located at the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Yuma web site at www.yuma.army.mil/contracting under RFQ W9124R-09-R-1016. U.S. Delivery, acceptance and Fob point is the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground in Yuma, AZ 85365. Proposals shall include all transportation costs and state proposed delivery time in weeks after receipt of order. Arizona vendors are to include the Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. All technical questions concerning this requirement must be emailed to the address listed below no later than 30 June 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST). Offers shall be clearly marked with RFQ referencing number # W9124R-09-R-1016 and emailed to address listed below or sent by facsimile to POC at (928) 328-6849 no later than 8 July 2009 at 03:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST). Offers that fail to furnish required representations required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below and technical information required by FAR 52.211-6 or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
