Description
This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved due to Other Statutory Authority (DFARS 208.405-70(b)(1) or DFARS 216.505-70(b)(1)). RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR UNDER CONTRACT W912PL-09-D-0028 TASK ORDER NO. 0001 FOR Repair taxiway lighting for taxiways C & B and Wind Socks, at Edward AFB. The work consists of the following: 1. Furnish all supervision, labor, work plan, engineering, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all operations to supply and install new isolating transformers and cabling for taxiways C & B, taxiway directional signs and wind socks. Cables are to be replaced from the regulators in the lighting vault through the complete circuits. All circuit will be insulated tested and reports submitted to customer. 2. Install semi-flush aviation blue Light Emitting Diode (LED) taxiway fixtures, and lamps to taxiways C & B. Remove mounted steel plates on to taxiways and install airport light bases and all associated hardware to taxiways. Provide new energy efficient internally lighted fluorescent taxiway directional signs on airfield. Provide new wind socks with lighting. The scope of work is described in two documents (RPR Taxiway Light Main Base Airfield FSPM 03-1510 dated 30 May 2008 and RPR Cable Transformer Main Base Taxiway FSPM 04-1151 dated 30 May 2008).
