Description
General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking expressions of interest from fee title owners, or their duly authorized representatives, desiring to enter into an assignable option to purchase a site, or assemblage of properties for a developer's lease construction of a building to house Federal Aviation Administration in Fort Worth, Texas. This expression of interest is for the SITE ONLY. GSA hereby solicits a no-cost assignable option to purchase property or the donation of a site that contains a minimum of 35 acres to a maximum of 45 acres in the following delineated area: Beginning at the northern boundary of FM Road 3479 generally east to Tarrant Parkway; east on Tarrant Parkway to Beach Street; south on Beach Street to Hwy 121 (Airport Freeway); west on Hwy 121 to I-35; south on I-35 to I-30; west on I-30 to SH 199 (Jacksboro Hwy); north on SH 199 to SH 183 (Ephriham Ave); northeast on SH 183 to FM 1220 (Azle Ave), north on FM 1220 to Loop 820; east on Loop 820 to Old Decatur Road; north on Old Decatur Road to Longhorn Rd/E. Industrial Ave; east on Longhorn Rd/Industrial Ave to Blue Mound Road; north on Blue Mound Road to FM 3479. Site shall be zoned for commercial office facilities, shall accommodate 530,039 rentable square feet of office space and 2,232 parking spaces, shall permit construction of a heli-stop, and shall not be in a floodplain. In support of GSA’s Brownfield initiative, we will consider abandoned, idled, or underused commercial sites where redevelopment is complicated by real or perceived environmental contamination. The Seller shall provide any existing environmental information available for the site. In addition, the seller shall advise if there are any historic structures on or in the immediate vicinity of the site and if there are any known archaeological resources on or near the site. In compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act and Executive Order 13006, when operationally appropriate and economically prudent, the Government will consider historic buildings and sites within historic districts. Demolition of historic buildings in anticipation of Government use may disqualify an offeror from consideration.
