- RECOVERY Architect-Engineer (A/E) Design Services. This notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to the Contractor awarded the initial contract award under the National Park Service's (NPS) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract Number C8078080175. The referenced contract was awarded to Jones and Jones Architects/Landscape Architects. The Contractor has previously completed the preliminary design (Title I) services for replacement of the Painted Hills Housing Unit. The NPS now seeks to acquire design development services for the construction documents (Title II) so that the previously selected standard modular housing unit may be designed so as to fit the existing site and also accomodate the expansive soils of Painted Hills. The final design will be based on a standard design for a similar structure with a net zero energy usage. The design documents shall be used as a basis for a Request for Proposals (RFP) that will be issued to solicit a construction contract.
