- The Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center at Picatinny Arsenal, NJintends to award a contract for the manufacture, inspection and delivery of twenty (20) 1 Wattage Power Amplifiers for testing by the US Army Research,Development and Engineering Command Armament, Research, Development and Engineering Center (RDECOM-ARDEC). The Government intends to award a sole source contract to Innovative Wireless Technologies (IWT), Forest, VA under the authority of 10 USC 2304(1), as authorized by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This Purchase Order is contemplated to be for an approximate quantity of twenty (20) 1 Wattage Power Amplifiers. A brief description of the 1 Wattage Power Amplifier is as follows: The 1 Watt Power Amplifier is a device that increases the amplitude of the signal for transmission. The 1 Watt Power Amplifier must be compatible with Animal Tracking System (ATS) subcomponents and mesh networking hardware which was developed by Innovative Wireless Technology and purchased by the U.S. Government. The 1 Watt Power Amplifier does amplification and RF transmission. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, the U.S. Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may indentify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
