- Description
- The contract work consists of, but is not limited to, the following items of work: (1) Remove approximately 8,000 square feet (SF) of deteriorated concrete pavement at pot holes in selected areas and repair with polymer-modified concrete. This contract involves a base portion treating approximately 4000 SF and may include an additional option for approximately 4000 SF. Repair locations will be selected by USACE. Saw cuts shall be made around the pothole and deteriorated concrete shall be removed to sound concrete or below exposed reinforcement. A bonding agent shall be applied prior to placement of polymer-modified concrete. The Contractor shall be responsible for deteriorated concrete disposal. (2) Provide all traffic control in accordance with a Contractor-prepared, DelDOT approved traffic control plan as required to perform contract work. The Contractor will be required to maintain one northbound and one southbound lane for public travel at all times during the Contract period. (3) Replace pavement markings as necessary.
