- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ)] for a high speed digitalcamera that is intended to be used for Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) applicationsusing a laser light source that has a wave length of 527 nm. Hardware and softwarerequirements are stated on the list of specifications posted with this solicitation. Offerors shall demonstrate in their quotation how the offered item meets or exceeds thetechnical requirements. Product literature or demonstration CDs may be included with thequotation package.This solicitation replaces solicitation 4200283742-WQ which has been cancelled.The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005-33.The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 333315 and500 employees respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status forthis procurement.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.Delivery to NASA Ames Research Center is required within 45 days ARO. Delivery shall beFOB Destination.IF THE END PRODUCT(S) IS OTHER THAN A DOMESTIC END PRODUCT(S) AS DEFINED IN THE CLAUSEENTITLED BUY AMERICAN ACT SUPPLIES, THE OFFEROR SHALL SO STATE AND SHALL LIST THECOUNTRY OF ORIGIN. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time on July8, 2009 to Marianne Shelley at Marianne.Shelley@nasa.gov and must include, solicitationnumber, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/paymentterms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN),identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized companyrepresentative.
