Description

YELLOW ROSE BARRIERS This contract provides for the equipment rental, labor, and services to perform work ordered by the Government for the protection of a Federally Listed Endangered Species and restoration of watershed in compliance with its terms, specifications and provisions. The purpose of this contract is to eliminate the impacts to a Federally Listed Endangered Species by blocking unauthorized routes within the watershed area and restoring the previously disturbed areas to a more natural state. This will be accomplished by installing metal pipe barriers along Kitchen Creek Road and by using a small bobcat to “rip” the compacted areas. The bobcat will also be used to spread any available brush over the affected areas. The Forest Service shall furnish the barriers for this project. The Contractor will be responsible for pick-up and delivery of all barriers associated with this job. NAICS - 238990 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION - LESS THAN $25,000. SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED 10 JULY 2009 OR SOONER.
