- ATTENTION interested parties for the Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for Construction and/or Design Build for the Healthcare Facilities for the United States Air Force Medical Service (AFMS), the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), and other customers of the US Army Corps of Engineers that may have healthcare facility needs previously synopsized in FedBizOps on or about 7 May 2009 and amended on 18 June 2009. The purpose of this announcement is to provide additional information on the pre-proposal site visit to be conducted on June 25, 2009 at Edwards Air Force Base: The conference will begin in Dental/Mental Health Bldg 5513, Edwards Air Force Base, CA, at approximately 9:00 a.m. PDT and will end at approximately 4:00 p.m. Interested contractors wishing to attend should Contractors that will be attending this briefing on 25 Jun 09 will need to provide the following information by 1400 PDT on 24 Jun 09. Megan Johnson at 661-277-6707; (Voice Phone 661-275-2825). Additionally, any vehicle will need proof of valid liability insurance, driver will need a current license and vehicle registration. Deadline to submit the required access information for base access is 2:00 PM PDT, Wednesday, 24 Jun 09, to forward to Security Forces. Contractor names will be on a Special Events list for June 25th. Any names not included on the Special Events letter will require the individual to meet at the Visitor Center and be processed in real-time like any other visitor. This may delay access to the base and cause them to miss the start of the site visit.
