- Description
- Notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order. Under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, 13.106-1(b)(1), The REDCOM Contracting Center, Pine Bluff Contracting Division intends to contract for Skinner Valves and Gast Vacuum Pumps on a sole source basis for the following supplies: 200 Skinner Valves (P/N 71215SN33NHPNOL111P3) 100 Skinner Valves (P/N 74232BN3SNJ1NOC111P3) 27 Gast Vacuum Pumps (P/N 2065V2A) Above parts are needed for the maintenance and repair of the M14 Leakage Tester. This tester is used in the rebuild and/ or production of gas masks to ensure there is no leakage. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the governments needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to Commander, Pine Bluff Arsenal, Attn: CCRD-PB (Kacy McClain) 10-020 Kabrich Circle, Bldg 17-120, Pine Bluff, AR 71602-9500. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone request will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received within 7 days from the publication of this synopsis, a purchase order may be issued to Parker Fluid Controls and Gast without further notice.
