- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format of FAR Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation has been enclosed. This requirement is set-aside only for small businesses. SSC PACIFIC San Diego is seeking competitive quotes to fabricate parts to be used to assemble an antenna in accordance with the attached statement of work and drawings. See attached request for quotation for purchase description and quantities. To request drawings, send an e-mail to auroroa.vargas@navy.mil and chris.lewis@navy.mil. Quotes shall be sent directly to gina.goodman@navy.mil and they must be received on or before the solicitation closing date (July 10, 2009). Interested parties must include the solicitation number (N66001-09-Q-5124) in their quotes. Technical questions must be e-mailed to the purchase technician two (2) business days prior to the closing date of this announcement. Direct all technical questions to aurora.vargas@navy.mil and chris.lewis@navy.mil. Make sure to reference Solicitation Number N66001-09-Q-5124 on any inquiries. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commerical Items will be used. Quotes will be evaluated and award will be based on the technically acceptable lowest quote. MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE PAST PERFORMANCE INFORMATION AND TECHNICAL CAPABILITY ALONG WITH YOUR COST PROPOSAL FOR EVALUATING PURPOSES. The contract terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and any additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332710 and the size standard is 500 employees. All responding vendors must be registered to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program prior to award of contract. Information to register to CCR can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/.
