- This is a one-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), project not to exceed $500,000.00, and with the option to renew for four additional years. The contractor shall conduct field surveys to locate Northern spotted owls (Strix occidentalis caurina), great horned owls (Bubo virginianus), and barred owls (Strix varia). Survey Areas are located in the Cascades Resource Area of the Salem District, Bureau of Land Management. The objectives include determining occupancy, nesting status, and reproductive success of Northern spotted owls and locating great horned owls and barred owls. Survey visits, station summaries, and owl observation data shall be collected and entered into a database. The NAICS code is 541370. Estimated start work date is March 15, 2010. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net (paper copies are no longer available). The estimated issue/posting date is June 26, 2009. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
