- ecovery Act Notice: This notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available to only Great Lakes Dredging & Dock Co. under contract W91278-09-D-0057; an IDIQ contract awarded 25 June 2009, which was fully competed & established in accordance with FAR Part 14. This Task Order is for the construction of a turning basin at Mobile Harbor near Pinto Island. This basin will be approximately 1550 feet long, 870 feet wide and 45 feet deep. The approximate quantity to be dredged is 2.7 million cubic yards with approximately one half of the material disposed of in the Gulf disposal site, one fourth being disposed of upland at Choctaw Point and the remainder disposed in either the Sand Island beneficial use site or in a beneficial use area to be constructed the upper bay approximately 2 miles from the dredge site.
