- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912P509B0015. PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Dale Hollow Dam Concrete Repair This project involves repairs to deteriorated concrete at the Dale Hollow Dam in Celina, Tennessee. Locations to be repaired include the roadway curbing, low parapet wall, high parapet wall, and tainter gate inspection platforms. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment required to remove and replace deteriorated concrete from approximately 1000 linear feet of curb, 500 linear feet of low parapet wall, 50 linear feet of high parapet wall, and 100 square feet of inspection platforms. The total amount of concrete is approximately 75 cubic yards. The Contractor will be responsible for saw cutting around areas of damaged concrete, removing material down to sound concrete (without damaging existing reinforcing steel) and placing concrete repair material. As part of the repair work, existing steel posts and handrails will need to be removed. The posts and handrails shall be retained without damage and reinstalled after making the necessary concrete repairs. There are two lanes of traffic across the dam. Only one lane of traffic may be closed to traffic at any given time. Estimated order of magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000.
