Description
NAICS Code: 334220 The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Emergency Response Team located in Las Vegas, Nevada, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, is looking to upgrade its transportable radio repeaters solar panels.EPA is looking for a compact solar panel package for use in any application requiring rapidly deployable DC power that is compact and easy to carry, ship, and set up. The system shall consist of the following: Flexible and foldable - solar panel that folds or rolls up; include cables for direct connection to the battery box and transportable radio repeaters; include electronic regulator to prevent overcharging system; tent pegs to secure the solar panel to the ground; bungee cords to hang the solar panel in a tree; mallet for securing panels; rope for securing panels; compass; small rugged water proof case (Approximately 16" x 12" x 6") for ease of storage and transportation; be made of rugged flexible material and is rated for 60W with a 12V output. The EPA is looking to purchase 4 of these units. Lastly, the EPA is looking to purchase two (2) Tactical Repeaters with the folllowing requirements: Available in VHF frequencies; transparent passing of P25 encryption (e.g. AES or DES-OFB); no double vocoding of the P2 signal; runs on commercial off the shelf alkaline batteries or other rechargeable batteries; P25 compatible; supports P25 encryption; available with 5 watts or greater of RF output; compact and light weight (around 20lbs); includes weatherproof case that is approved for airline shipping; can be carried with one hand and deployed in minutes; available with the following options: solar panels; rechargeable external battery pack for extended operation; antenna. The National American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334220. This request shall remain on this website for a period of no longer than five (5) calendar days.
