- Description
- Remove approximately 720 LF of existing chain link fabric fence and supports and dispose. Install approx. 500 LF of new chain link fence to match existing fence. Relocate the existing 30 ft. rolling gate to new access point location. Remove large swing gates and turn over to the Government. The new fence shall be installed to replace the large swing gate, along the northwest side of the equipment pad a minimum of 3 feet off of the back of curb and tied into the southwest corner of Building 758. On the northeast side of Building 758 the fence shall be tied to the approximate midpoint 4 feet past the rolling garage door (the garage door will be outside the controlled access of the new fencing) then continuing to the new access point. Manchester Road 023 end of Runway Install Guard Rails with a minimum K4 crash rating. Furnish & install guard rail system adjacent to Manchester Road. Approx. 1360LF. Guard rail to be paint brown. Guard rail to be installed a minimum of 1 foot behind back of sidewalk. Guard rail to be installed across existing gravel driveway. Driveway to be abandoned. Guard rail to terminate at southern end of Manchester Road at same station as concrete curb and gutter. Jersey barriers at end of Manchester Road are to be removed by CES. Install seven (7) permanent K8 bollards at 4 foot centers at end of Manchester Road and painted brown.
