- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City intends to issue a sole source purchase order to United States Marine INC (USMI), 10011 Lorraine RD, Gulfport, MS 39503 for the acquisition of Turbo Charger Group, P/N 233-7053. This procurement is sole source for the following reason. The Turbocharger Group part is required in support of the RIBS Special Operations Craft for the Naval Special Warfare Special Boat Team. This item has been tested and certified for use in the RIBS Special Operations Craft (SOC), to ensure operational capability with other RIBS SOC components. USMI is the only responsible source due to their unique qualifications as sole manufacturer of this item. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to NSWC PCD, 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336612, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The closing date to submit quotes is 22 June 2009. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
