Description
Synopsis: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The 1st Contracting Squadron is seeking information on potential firms qualified to provide quotes on a future solicitation. The proposed award will be a firm fixed-price for a PortaCount Pro+ Universal Respirator Fit Tester and Particle Generator for Langley AFB, VA. The PortaCount Pro+ Universal Respirator Fit Tester OR EQUAL must consist of the following characteristics: Must come with an A/C adapter with Universal Plug Set, alcohol cartridge, alcohol fill capsule, storage cap, zero check filters. 100 sampling probes, probe insertion tool, and neckstrap. 3/16 inch and ¼ inch hose adapters. Spare alcohol wicks, carrying case, FitPro Fit Test software, USB cable, operation and service manual. Must be OSHA compliant for all respirators, protective masks, and the N95 disposable respirators. Must work with the M40 masks as well. The particle Generator must consist of the following characteristics: Salt tablets to fit the tester, 100 count package The NAICS code for this procurement is 339113. Any information submitted is voluntary. Request interested firms submit (1) the NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER of the firm (including CAGE code); (2) a summary of their product, (3) their SIZE STATUS. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 p.m., EST, on 2-July-2009 to be considered. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued o/a 6 July 2009 and will be posted on the FedBizOpps.
